Island Hopper Hotel is a gem in FSM! Kosrae is such a lush, beautiful place and it was great to stay in a safe (eg filtered water faucet in the rooms), comfortable (memory foam-type beds), and friendly (the staff will play ukulele and sing during meal times if they aren’t too busy). The moonscape across from the hotel is magical!! I recommend the tuna & veggie omlete for breafast and the salted caramel brownie as a treat with dinner. While I wanted to just enjoy the peacefulness of Kosrae, I also had to work during my stay. Island Hopper has Starlink internet that is super fast and perfect for Zoom calls and other business functions.

We came here for a weekend and discovered wonderful warm people and lush tropical vegetation.  The hotel is modern with lovely beds and great bathrooms. Even a drinking water tap.  Maria is Italian – so there is great food (the deep fried eggplant and okra fritters are amazing – as is her off-the-menu homemade ravioli. Best pizza in the Pacific!  So good food and good accommodation – right in front of an idyllic beach

f I could give this review 10 stars I would, and I’d add a few heart emojis in there as well! This is a special place and you can feel it the minute you arrive. The three owners, Maria, Mark, and Matt have invested years of their lives into this community and their knowledge and love of Kosrae is evident. The property itself is immaculate; in all my travels across the region I have never stayed in such a clean and up to date room. It has the standards of an established resort with the personal touches of a bed and breakfast.
